Lazy Day

Poor little guy is suffering through another nasty cold/virus/Ihatewinterweather thingy.  But, thankfully, he's been a little less clingy today!

And, no, that's not dirt on my floors; it's paint.  Because when you're going to tear out the gross carpet in a few months, it acts as the worlds best drop cloth!

Look Who is 1!

It's hard to believe that--just a year ago--Trent David came to be a part of our family.  It's hard to believe because it feels like he's always been here... a perfect little fit for our little clan.

He's quirky--REALLY quirky.  He doesn't eat, is petrified of grass, cries if anyone even looks at him, and isn't afraid to hit you if he's mad.  He's a feisty one!

But, he's so sweet too: blows kisses, loves his Momma most in the world, laughs and giggles at his brother and sister, and pats his Daddy's back.  He loves to snuggle, LOVES music, and has a keen ability to remove 100 tissues from a box in about a second.

But, the best thing about Trent David... is that he is ours.  We are grateful beyond measure to his birthmom who made that difficult decision... and to God, the true source of all good gifts!

Vacay

We are still knee deep in fevers and coughs over here, but I would be remiss if I didn't post a few pics from our travels last week.

Here are Grant and Grace outside a famous five and dime.  I took a picture of Grant on this same horse almost five years ago (one of my favorite pics of him ever!).  He's growing up too fast!
