Yesterday afternoon as I packed for a business trip, Erin and I had a brief conversation regarding my safety. Neither of us has had much sleep since the little dude came home, and I was staring a three hour drive in the face.
"You be careful. We'd be in bad shape without you!"
I basked in the sentimentality for a moment, when Erin lovingly followed it up with "We don't have enough life insurance if you go."
I guess I know my role at this point...Sheesh.
The same is happening here. I had a long travel week a couple weeks ago and I just ended up sleeping on the couch so that I would not drive off the road.
