First Doc Visit

We took Grace to the doctor last week, and guess who is tall and skinny? That's right. Grace is in the 80th percentile for height and the 20th for weight. It makes pants a tricky, tricky task right now, but it least it makes it clear why the clothes we brought her in China did not fit!

First let me say thank you for letting me part of your journey. My sister and B-I-L are on this journey with a LID of April 2, 2007 so I am doing my research to learn how to be supportive, lol.
Secondly...my oldest child was a little taller and weighed a little less so he lived in overalls and one piece suits. Now with the adjustable waist bands on almost everything, you might be able to get away with just pants.

I love your blog, and even read most of it to my hubby because I think you two write amazingly!!
Here's me praying a little sanity your way...

Adjustable waist pants are the best invention in the world. Whoever came up with that elastic contraption is a freaking genius.

Even Target etc. carry pants like this now. It saves us. (We have a couple of long skinnies ourselves.)

Hey guys!
The family looks awesome!! Did the doctor draw titers on Grace? Just heard that some doctors did and some didn't.
Hugs and kisses to the two babies!!

No titers yet, Tara. Our family doctor referred us to the International Adoption Clinic here at Riley Hospital for Children. They will draw titers and do all the tests. That fun comes later this week... :)

Sounds just like Maegan! You should talk to Carol about what she did. We don't have the issue in our house-tall and skinny. :-)
